About US

In the face of growing reports of atrocities being perpetrated by the Government, victims and their families and friends of The Gambia, including those in the diaspora started mobilizing and drawing attention to the worsening human rights situation in the country that occurred during these 22 years. Following the fall of the Jammeh Government in January 2017, victims could finally recount their stories without fearing to be persecuted. However many victims felt their voices were not being heard individually. Most were not getting the adequate support and decided to come together under one group with the support of Gambian activists from the diaspora.
